SSD Systems owns and operates two U.L. Certified Security Monitoring Centers. Our highly skilled Central Station personnel have been extensively trained to manage all levels of emergency and can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our Central Station operates with state-of-the-art servers and advanced monitoring software which we continuously update to ensure the most current technology. To guarantee your security in the event of an emergency, our facilities are equipped with redundant backup power to fully support their operation. APPREHENSION NEWS:
At 8:18am, a video alarm clip was received at SSD's security monitoring center showing an individual near the conveyor fence line. The Police Dept was notified and immediately dispatched with confirmation of a valid alarm. The customer saw the video clip on his computer and went to meet police at the location. Customer advised SSD that he was pleased with our fast reaction time and the description of the suspect, 5'7" - 5'9" wearing a light shirt with dark loose pants and short to almost shaved head, which lead to the trespasser taken into custody. Nothing was stolen.
At 5:13am, a video alarm clip was received at SSD's security monitoring center showing an intruder in the building and moving objects around. The Police Dept was notified and immediately dispatched with confirmation of a valid alarm. A description of a bald white male, 5'10" wearing a light colored shirt & dark pants was given to the Police dispatcher who remained on the line with SSD's Central Station Operator until apprehension was made. Suspect in custody.
At 12:16am a video alarm clip was received at SSD's security monitoring center showing a male in a light colored shirt and baseball cap standing in front of the camera. The Police Dept were notified and immediately dispatched with confirmation of a valid alarm. Customer was called and advised they were on way to meet the police. SSD operator was updated by the PD that the building was clear & secured and they had 2 people in custody. Customer seemed very happy with the quick response and with his system.
At 7:04pm a video alarm clip was received at SSD's security monitoring center showing a male suspect on site approaching a locked gate. The police were contacted with confirmation of a verified alarm. The SSD operator provided a full description of the suspect and the activity viewed from the video alarm and PD dispatched officers to the scene. Upon arrival, the PD found the suspect trying to cut through locks on the gate. The suspect fled on foot but was apprehended by the officers. After examining the site, the customer reported no signs of any damage other than a broken lock and no stolen property.
At 4:24am a video alarm clip was received at SSD's security monitoring center showing two individual men on campus, one wearing a white shirt and the other wearing dark clothing. The PD were notified of a verified alarm with detailed description of the activity and immediately dispatched officers. Police called back requesting video's be resent for possible verification of the individuals seen in the video. SSD operator checked back in with PD for updates and was advised that nothing broken into or stolen and that the individuals were arrested for drugs and trespassing.
At 11:37pm, a video alarm was received at SSD System’s monitoring center showing a light from a flashlight and a suspect with light colored clothing. The county sheriff was dispatched with this information. When they arrived on scene they found a lot of footprints in the outdoor yard but could not find any persons. They did however find very valuable equipment moved next to the fence line. The customer confirmed that nothing was taken so no loss was reported.
At 3:09pm Signals were received at SSD's security monitoring center from motion detectors in three different classrooms. The PD were notified and requested to immediately dispatch. Police advised they needed a responder due to the school being locked at the location. Subscriber arrived on site and advised that the police had 3 suspects in custody who had broken in through a vent and took a couple bikes and video camera. All items were recovered and are being held as evidence. Estimated damages due to break-in around $2000.
At 1:58am, several video alarm clips were received at SSD’s monitoring center showing two male and two female suspects. Private security was dispatched and when they arrived on scene, they cited four individuals for trespassing in a secured area.
At 4:23am a video alarm clip was received at SSD's security monitoring center showing two males walking on premises. The Police Dept were notified and immediately dispatched with confirmation of a valid alarm. One male suspect was described by the operator as wearing a baseball cap, jacket, pants and having a thin build while the other was wearing darker colored clothing with a long sleeve shirt/sweater, and having a thin build. This information given to the Police dispatcher helped them apprehend a suspect on site and he was taken into custody.
At 7:01am, a video alarm was received at SSD’s security monitoring center. A male was seen on the roof next to a large HVAC unit. The police department was contacted and advised of the verified video alarm. When the police arrived on scene with a K9 unit, the suspect fled. There was no damage caused and the customer was ecstatic with how the video alarm monitoring worked and asked for a clip of the event for the police.
At 12:54am, a video alarm was received at SSD’s monitoring center showing a male suspect trespassing wearing a baseball cap, light colored shorts and shirt. The PD was dispatched with this information and then the customer was called. A 2nd clip was received showing the male suspect running away from a loading dock in front of a diesel truck. The PD was called and advised of this additional information. When the PD arrived on site, they apprehended one male suspect. The customer called to confirm that there was no loss and they were very thankful of the actions taken.
At 3:25am, a video clip was received at SSD’s monitoring center from a CaptureCam system. Three males were seen in the clip. The first had a flashlight and was wearing a white t-shirt and light pants. The 2nd had a dark t-shirt and light pants and the third was difficult to see but also had a flashlight. The police department was dispatched the verified alarm information. Another video clip was received showing a suspect running away from the CaptureCam and this information was updated with the police dispatcher. When the PD arrived they confirmed the break-in. The customer advised that there was no loss.
At 9:45pm, a video alarm clip was received from a CaptureCam system at SSD’s security monitoring center. The operator viewed a teenage male suspect with dark hair and a heavy hooded jacket walking slowly up to a closed snack bar. Another video clip was received from an additional CaptureCam of an individual on a roof. The police department was dispatched and when they arrived on scene they apprehended four individuals.
At 1:53am, a video alarm clip was received showing a male suspect on the roof. The police department was dispatched as a verified alarm. When they arrived on scene they apprehended one suspect with electric tool. No damage or loss was reported.
At 8:18am, a video alarm was received at SSD’s central monitoring center showing a male suspect standing about 5’7” – 5’9” tall with a shaved head wearing a light shirt and dark loose pants. The PD was contacted with this information and when they arrived on scene were able to capture the suspect, taking him into custody for trespassing. Nothing was stolen.
At 12:56am, a video alarm clip was received at SSD's security monitoring center showing an individual in the yard walking towards the building. The police department were immediately dispatched, with confirmation of a valid alarm. Police arrived on site and after searching the premises advised they had apprehended one suspect inside and are looking for another. Suspect was arrested and will be charged with attemped grand theft and trespassing.
At 12:38am a video alarm clip was received at SSD's security monitoring center showing 5 individuals walking through the campus out of camera view. The Police Dept were notified and immediately dispatched with confirmation of a valid alarm. Subscriber was called and advised of activation of alarm and that police were dispatched. Subscriber later advised SSD that the 5 juveniles were detained, no damage to property reported.
At 10:24pm, video alarm signals were received from a SSD Systems CaptureCam installed on the interior of a building under construction. Upon receiving the video alarms, the SSD central station operator viewed an individual walking through a hallway wearing dark clothing and a hodded sweatshirt. The police deparmtment was dispatched with details of the video alarms and officers were sent to the scene. Additional video clips were received showing four police officers inside the building along with a K9 unit running the hall. The PD reported two suspects in custody and requested for SSD to forward copies of the video alarm events for their review.
At 3:17am, a video alarm clip was received at SSD's security monitoring center showing an individual with a dog on the side of a gas tank. A call was placed to the county sheriff's department advising them of the suspicious activity and they immediately dispatched officers based on the video verification. After arriving on the scene, authorities said that the site was secure and that the suspect left the scene leaving behind a pair of bolt cutters and a pry bar near the gas tank. No loss was reported.
At 8:35pm a video alarm clip was received at SSD's security monitoring center showing a person on the premises. The Police Dept were notified and immediately dispatched with confirmation of a valid alarm. Customer was called and advised they were on their way to meet the police. SSD operator was updated by the PD that they had 2 people in custody. Customer was very happy with the way everything was handled and is now looking at expanding the system.
At 9:17pm, a video alarm clip was received at SSD's security monitoring center showing an individual looking into parked cars on the lot. The police department was immediately dispatched, with confirmation of a valid alarm. While the police were on the sight additional video clips came in and they were advised that the suspect was hiding in the corner near what appeared to be a wrought iron gate. Police found and detained the suspect.
At 4:21pm, a video alarm clip was received at SSD’s monitoring center showing two suspects waking through a restricted storage facility. The police department was notified immediately as a verified video dispatch and officers were sent to the scene. Another clip was received showing the suspect hiding behind a building and the police dispatcher was updated of this information. Later, additional video clips were received showing several police and K9 unit searching the facility at gun point. Two suspects were apprehended and arrested at the scene.
At 3:38am, a video alarm was received from a SSD CaptureCam unit. The video clip showed two people walking in a secure area; one wearing light colored pants with a dark jacket and the second was unable to be seen due the darkness however was holding a flashlight walking toward the first suspect. The county sheriff was dispatched with confirmation of a verified alarm with the details seen on the video clip. When the sheriffs arrived they apprehended two suspects. The customer was extremely happy with the response and outcome of the situation.
At 10:03pm, a video alarm clip was received at SSD's security monitoring center showing an individual in the rear yard looking into parked cars near the storage shed. The police department was immediately dispatched, with confirmation of a valid alarm. Police arrived with K9 unit and started to search the yard. Suspect was taken into custody.
At 2:20am, a video alarm clip was received at SSD's security monitoring center showing an individual walking inside of a secure outdoor yard. The police department was immediately dispatched with confirmation of a valid alarm. Another video alarm clip was received showing the individual crouching behind a flatbed truck relayed to the PD. The next video alarm clip shows the suspect walking out with his hands in the air while surrendering to the police officers.
At 3:56am, SSD's monitoring center received signals from a CaptureCam video alarm system installed earlier that same day in a remote storage yard. A call was placed to the police department advising them of the situation and officers were dispatched. After arriving onto the scene, authorities apprehended multiple suspects caught attempting to steal property. The customer was very impressed with how SSD handled the situation, that arrests were made and all property was recovered.
At 11:47pm, a video alarm was received at SSD’s central monitoring center of two individuals trying to make entry into a small building. The police department was contacted immediately and advised of the verified alarm. When PD arrived on scene, the suspects fled and no damage was caused.
At 1:05pm a video alarm clip was received at SSD's security monitoring center showing two individual men on campus, both appear to be wearing dark clothing. The Police Dept. were notified of a verified alarm with detailed description of the activity and immediately dispatched officers. Operator checked back in with PD for updates and was advised that the two individuals were apprehended and there was no damage reported .
At 2:55am, a video alarm clip was received at SSD's security monitoring center showing an individual looking into parked cars on the lot. Video showed two suspects on the property, first person appeared to have a flashlight and the second person had on a jacket with white sleeves. The police department were immediately dispatched, with confirmation of a valid alarm. While on site the police took one suspect into custody and the other suspect was caught off site. Customer was very appreciative with us and very happy with the response time.
At 9:04pm a video alarm was received at SSD’s monitoring center showing two males walking on a roof. Suspects appeared to be between 14-17 years old and wearing light colored shirts and shorts. The police were dispatched and when they arrived, they apprehended and arrested both suspects.
